Jess at This Life is Mine lives the kind of life I was never brave (or crazy) enough to live. And now I'm old. But I can have fun just READING her blog, and I never get the hangover that goes with it. Rockin'. She gave me this on Friday:
1. You have to pass it on to 5 other fabulous blogs in a post.
2. You have to list 5 of your fabulous addictions in the post.
3. You must copy and paste the rules and the instructions below in the post.
Instructions: On your post of receiving this award, make sure you include the person that gave you the award and link it back to them. When you post your five winners, make sure you link them as well. To add the award to your post, simply right-click, save image, then "add image" it in your post as a picture so your winners can save it as well. To add it to your sidebar, add the "picture" widget. Also, don't forget to let your winners know they won an award from you by emailing them or leaving a comment on their blog.
There are so few things I'm NOT addicted to, it might be easier to do one of those, too, even though it is cheating.
I AM addicted to:
Blogging: And comment lurve. I don't talk to people in person as much as I talk to my bloggy friends. Even when I say I am going to be incommunicado for a few days? I'm lying. If there is an internet connection to be had, my laptop and I will find it.
Caffeine: Preferred delivery method is coffee, though I can make do with tea if necessary. But only if absolutely necessary.
Puzzles: Sudoku and KenKen are my favorites for numbers, and I enjoy the Boston Globe crossword that's published in my local paper on Saturdays. I'll do the NYTimes Sunday puzzle, but it's a little too hard for my liking.
Reading: New books are like crack for me. Great for my mind, not so much for the spread of my a$$, though.
I am NOT addicted to:
TV Shows: Really. I almost never watch TV. It's just not my thing. My mom was one of those people who had the TV on ALL THE TIME. It made me nuts. The funny thing is that if there's one on? I get hooked right in. You can't even get my attention. The last TV show I watched voluntarily was the last season of West Wing. Husband and I started watching it on DVD sometime during Season Six. I miss it dreadfully. If they brought it back for President Santos' presidential term, they'd have me in a heartbeat.
I want to hear from Rachel, VodkaMom, Halushki, Sprite's Keeper, and Gathering Dust.
And guess what? That's the end of NaBlowMeMo, which I will commemorate by continuing to post every day. Except Husband will guest post one day in December!
