On order with Target.com, from whom I had a gift card, is Doris Kearns Goodwin's newest called Team of Rivals. The story of the men that Lincoln defeated, but eventually brought together to form his cabinet. While reading the Mark Frost above, which is the story of the 1913 US Open and how the participants changed the way golf is played and viewed, Frost took a little foray into American politics of the time, and reminded me how much I enjoy reading about US history. I have a fabulous two-volume set on Theodore Roosevelt by Edmund Morris that I can highly recommend.
Now I have taken a turn into nerd-vana, so I think the drugs must be kicking in. Have a good Sunday, all.
