Let it be known throughout the blogosphere that one week from today, on 10 December, 2008, Middle Aged Woman will be (temporarily) handing over the keys to her blog to someone special. Someone she loves very much. Someone who would NEVER, EVER write embarrassing things about her (right, honey?), Husband.
Husband is very smart, very articulate, and very funny. Really. My only fear is that he will do a better job than I do at this blogging business, but since his work, church, martial arts, and theater commitments keep him insanely busy, I needn't worry about him starting his own blog and taking my readers away, chuckling softly at my pedestrian attempts as they shake their heads in pity.
I am posting the keys picture above in the hopes that some of you will want to steal it. C'mon! Who wouldn't want to read a post by Supreme Leader? Or Light of My Life? Or Sweet Thang? John? The Other Chris? And dozens of others! Imagine what Bitchy and Sassy would have to say! Or J-Dan! And what about Quasi-Yuppie Wife? There must be some stories to tell. So, step up to the plate, and let someone else drive your blog for a day. If they can mix a metaphor, they are welcome to join in!
