- I really love my house the day after we have company. Everything is so neat and clean. Did I spell those right? They are kind of foreign to parents of teenagers. Plus, at that point, I'm done with the prep work, and I can just...enjoy. Okay, time to move on, I'm sounding really lame.
- My neighbor apologized for disturbing the quiet with his lawnmower. Actually, I love the sound of a lawnmower. It reassures me that it's still summer.
- Raspberry Stoli may be my new favorite drink. Since I was driving to BlogHer, I stopped on the way to pick up a drink supply for our room. StilettoMom requested Strawberry, but the huge liquor store I stopped at had every flavor but Strawberry. I thought maybe Raspberry would be an acceptable substitute. Oddly enough, we didn't (need to) crack the bottle in our room, but I ordered one at the lobby bar and fell in love. Even though they charged me $12 for it.
- Really? New York in August? I'm thinking Nashville in January. Are ya with me?
- Have I mentioned that I am an aspiring photographer? I have a lovely little point-and-shoot that takes perfectly nice pictures. But I'd really like to upgrade to a DSLR, without the, you know, $800 investment. Know anyone who wants to sell me a used one?
