I have a few pictures on my camera of a pretty little snowfall we had last week that had me thinking, "Gee if I lived somewhere warmer, I wouldn't be able to see pretty little Michigan scenes like this one.
If you look at the roof, you can see some blurry, fluffy snowflakes falling. This was taken near the end of the snowfall. Just enough to be entertaining, not enough to be a huge pain.
If you look at the door, though, you'll see a common Michigan sight...
...the sheriff's notice that the house has been seized by the bank. Lots of those around.
Anyway, everyone has heard of Snowmageddon on the east coast. Apparently, Jack Frost has remembered southeastern Michigan for the first time this year. This is what we are expecting:
It's too much to ask to have no real snow accumulation where I live. If I were still teaching I'd be delighted at the prospect of a snow day tomorrow. As it is, I'm just feeling cranky because I'm supposed to go out this afternoon to take ten years off my appearance blow some of that tax refund have my hair tinted for the first time since July of last year. My hair has become the same shade of gray as my face.
*Sigh* At least I'll feel pretty while I'm battling the elements. Little victories, people.
