Husband Styro and I spent the weekend visiting his dad in Dayton, Ohio. We stayed at the Hilton Homewoods Suites, where we had a lovely suite, and, as hotels are wont to do, someone slipped our receipt under the door Sunday morning, for us to verify when we checked out.
Notice anything unusual? Look a little closer...
We do not live in Connecticut.
The room was already paid for, so didn't get our knickers in a twist about it, but it did prompt me to ask Husband if there was another family he'd like to tell me about. "Oh my god, honey, do I have a sister wife???"
He says no, and I tend to believe him. But it led me to thinking about a sister-wife. I can't leave an important decision like that to HIM, right? She'll need to be someone I can get along with. Someone who gets along with me.
She should be young enough to have babies, so that I can have that whole Grandma experience without my children procreating yet.
She needs to have a sense of humor, because I don't want to have to explain myself.
She should NOT be thinner than I am.
She needs to be bright and independent in her thinking; no band-wagoneers, please.
She should be a decent cook. I would gladly trade all of the cooking for all of the cleaning chores.
What other qualities should I be looking for in a sister-wife?
