Last night, the Red Wings flattened the Coyotes to move on to round two of the Playoffs. Happy Birthday to Captain Nicklas Lidstrom, who turns 40 today! Watch out for the traditional pie in the face from Drapes. Captain Dumbass's Vancouver Canucks are matched up against the Blackhawks, and I must admit I prefer to face San Jose in the next round. If the Wings and the Nucks both emerge from this round, the Captain and I will have a wager going on. Terms of the deal to be negotiated. Suggestions are welcome.
My fave graphic artist, Tera, from Olive Hue Designs, was interested in a mini-banner (see above) so she proposed a swap: one of her beautiful pieces for one of my banners. As I looked through her etsy shop to see which I wanted most, I came across this one...

I find it hard to walk past a window on the ocean-side of this Disney villa without saying, "Wow." There's a reason beachfront property is so coveted. It's almost like having a private beach, since the resort is currently far below capacity.
I am seriously considering entry in the Water Slide races at 3:45 today. I have been perfecting my technique, and think I stand a good chance at the medal round.
Now, I need to go soak up some beautiful weather. More tomorrow.
