Considering how freaked out she is by Zombies, it's amazing that Keely would create a badge that looks as though it was written by a member of the walking shuffling dragging dead. Whatever it is they do. They host Random Tuesday Thoughts with Keely, apparently.
Speaking of Zombies, one of the very first followers the Captain and I had on theZNN.com was Cat from Zipbag of Bones. Yesterday, I saw on her blog (posted by her friend, Summer) that Cat had fallen down a flight of stairs and fractured her skull. We can only assume she was trying to escape a zombie attack. After two weeks in the hospital, she was allowed to go home, but to do NOTHING except rest. Other people are reading comments to her, so if you have something cheerful, visit here and leave a message.
Random Tuesday seems like a very good day to post the winner of the Telling America's Story: The History of The Henry Ford book I offered as a prize in exchange for Facebook-y, Twitter-y things last week. There were 13 entries...
The tenth comment (not including my comments in the count) was from homeschooling mom of five(!), Serial Mommy! Congratulations!
Plans are in place to visit the western 'burbs of Chicago for Thanksgiving, and we will be leaving early enough this year to be there for Tuesday Night Trivia at the local pub! Look out, Kane County, here we come!
The 2010-11 hockey season is only about a month under way. How is it that in one month, the Chicago Blakhawks can have played 4-5 more games than almost anyone else in the whole damn Western Conference? I just don't get hockey scheduling anymore. Detroit plays Toronto ONE TIME this season. You'd think two Original Six teams that have been rivals for years would be a big draw, but apparently not. If I ever run into Gary Bettman, Ima shout the man's ears off.
That is all.
Keely awaits.
